long time coming

Wow, my sister-in-law was the one to mention that my blog was, well, outdated and it is no doubt! Having a baby really does keep you from doing things you used to be on top of! So just a quick update about our little miracle.
On June 28 2011 at 11:31 am we were blessed with a beautiful, precious little girl. We named her Brynn Ava and have been tremendously in love ever since. She weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 21 inches. We were so surprised because we both had thought that we were having a boy. Our little girly was brought in the world by a planned c-section due to her cramped little breech position. My recovery went well and life with a newborn was actually not as hard as we thought it would be. Brynn has been such a great baby making it an easy and fun transition for us as parents! Instead of talking progesterone, cycles, implant, and drug schedules it's all about feeding times, cute clothes, smiles and poop :-)
As of today she is 4 months and a few days (wow it's going SO fast) and about 14 lbs and 25 inches, and the cutest little thing around!
Becoming parents has been the most wonderful experience in the world. When we heard her cry for the first time it was truly an amazing experience, I can't really describe it. So much emotion was felt, and we were just in complete awe and so in love :-) I'm starting to have a hard time remembering her being so tiny and new because now she is giggling, rolling over, talking and so much fun. She still likes to cuddle though, so that makes me really happy!

On my side of the family Brynn is the first grandbaby and her Nona and Grandpa love her to pieces. My younger brothers can't wait until she's old enough to take fishing :-) On my husbands side, Brynn is the 4th grandbaby, and the 3rd girl, so my nephew is greatly outnumbered :) A few pictures for your enjoyment!
